Golden pink hue with bright red tints. Exceptionally fine, lively sparkle forming even, persistent streams of bubbles. Intense bouquet of ripe fruit (blackcurrant) and candied orange, accompanied by subtle notes of orange blossom and Madagascar vanilla. The bouquet is very stable, dense and opens out slowly to reveal a deep, sweet character. Smooth and full-bodied on entry to the palate. Its ripe, warm palate is both tactile (silky texture) and rounded (ripe, sweet anthocyanins with an almost liquorous consistency), and is lengthened by a fresh, chalky finish. Subtle notes of hazelnut and cocoa beans linger on the end palate. Due to the decision not to carry out the malolactic fermentation, it has retained a remarkable freshness which lightens and elongates the palate.

James Suckling
"White fruit immediately on the nose, as well as some very strong lemon and lime notes. Some gently chalky notes, too, from the Chouilly chardonnay, which is super chalky. The palate has such focus and drive and a great, mineral core. Very long with a fresh line of acidity and peripheral, smooth flesh. Some pink grapefruit at the finish. Drink or hold."

Wine Enthusiast
"This wine is already mature, with layers of toast over the crisp texture. There is a happy contrast between fruit and more complex, secondary flavors. This ripe, elegant wine is now ready to drink."

Robert Parker The Wine Advocate
"The Roederer 2013 Rosé has a lovely light pink color and opens with highly delicate red fruit and flowery aromas. The wine is light, fresh, pure, very delicate and stimulatingly salty. Very energetic and at the same time caressing. The finish displays pink grapefruit, blood orange, and lime zest flavors. Highly stimulating in its purity, freshness and citrus character. Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon finds it less vinous than the 2012, but he thinks the 2013 has huge aging potential. Disgorged in January, tasted at the domaine in May 2018."
