Chateau Tour De LaRoze Margaux 2014 750ml

Château Tour Laroze may not a well-known name but it’s made by the team at Château Labegorcé, whose vineyards neighbour Château Margaux. These vineyards are considered among the greatest in the region. Tour de Laroze has seen several noble owners throughout the centuries. Hubert Perrodo, who also owned Château Labegorcé, took ownership in 1989 and today his daughter Nathalie runs the estate. The 2014 vintage is blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) with small amount of new oak adding a subtle layer of sweet spice. With a lovely fragrant nose and silk-like texture, this is textbook Margaux. Very expressive with red fruits, toasted notes and spice, you can enjoy it now or cellar for up to 10 years. With its smooth red fruit flavours, it would partner perfectly with roasted lamb or a selection of cheeses.
