"The 2021 Reserva Coto de Imaz (100% Tempranillo) spent 18 months in American oak. Classic vanilla and caramel tones open the nose, layered with syrupy nuances, cherry, forest floor and dried flowers. The aromatic combination works well. On the palate, it is dry and enveloping yet agile, supported by fine tannins and juicy lift as it glides toward a silky texture. A subtle chalky note tightens the mid-palate, while oak drives the finish. Well executed, the finesse of 2021 enhances its appeal."
