Experience the exceptional character of Resonance Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022, a wine that reflects the unique growing conditions of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The 2021-2022 winter was relatively warm until an April snow and frost, which, while challenging, allowed the vines to recover and set the stage for a delayed growing season. The cool and wet spring delayed vine growth, while the summer offered plenty of warmth and dry conditions, culminating in a warm September that created perfect ripening conditions. The result is a wine that shows concentration, vibrancy, and complexity.

In the vineyard, the small clusters of fruit—picked before the rain—produced a wine with intense color and flavor. The Decouverte and Koosah vineyards contributed fruit with perfectly balanced sugar concentration and acidity, which helped create a Pinot Noir with purity and elegance from the very first days of maceration. The wine expresses itself beautifully with remarkable color and an expressive, fruity profile.

On the nose, Resonance Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022 opens with an aromatic bouquet of blueberry, raspberry, orange peel, and floral notes of rose and lavender. There’s an intriguing undertone of black pepper and morel mushroom, adding complexity. On the palate, it’s generous and fresh, with a well-balanced structure. The ripe fruit flavors are complemented by soft tannins and a refreshing acidity, creating a wine that’s both lively and smooth.

Tasting Notes
This Pinot Noir displays a beautiful bright ruby color and an expressive aroma of blueberry, raspberry, orange peel, rose, lavender, black pepper, and morel mushroom. The palate is fresh, fruity, and well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a pleasant acidity that lingers.

Wine Spectator

"Fragrant raspberry and fresh violet aromas lead to elegantly layered cherry, mineral and savory tea flavors, with a silky mouthfeel that slowly builds tension on the polished finish."

James Suckling

"Aromas rich in savory, woodsy and spicy notes lead to vibrant black cherries, grilled plums, mushrooms, star anise and a touch of black pepper. Distinctive for a broad Willamette Valley bottling, this is lively and medium-bodied."
