Bacardi Coquito Limited Edition 750ml

Coquito, "little coconut," is the Puerto Rican holiday drink, and plenty of families make their own every December. Bacardi's ready-made version first came out for the 2019 holidays and follows the traditional recipe: Bacardi Superior white rum blended with coconut cream, vanilla, cinnamon and toasted spices. It is 13% alcohol.

It is creamy and sweet, with coconut first, then vanilla and warm cinnamon. Bacardi describes it as eggnog on a tropical vacation, and that is about right.

If you make coquito from scratch every year, keep doing it. If you want the taste without the blender, or you need a few bottles for the party, this is the shortcut. Like it stronger? Add a splash of white rum.

Serve it cold over ice, with a dusting of cinnamon on top.
