DeKuyper Pucker Watermelon Liqueur 1L

DeKuyper Pucker Watermelon is a sweet-and-sour watermelon schnapps from John DeKuyper & Son in Kentucky, bottled at 15%. The Pucker line is built for color and big fruit flavor in mixed drinks.

It is bright red and tastes of candy watermelon, sweet first with a sour tang at the end. It is bright, sweet and low in alcohol, so it mixes easily into pitchers. Because it is so sweet, a squeeze of fresh lime balances it well in any drink.

This is a party mixer, not a sipper. Buy it for a Watermelon Margarita, a watermelon martini or shots; for a real-fruit liqueur, look at Chinola instead.

DeKuyper's own recipes are the Watermelon Margarita and the Watermelon Martini. For the martini, shake it with vodka and a splash of lime; for a quick punch, add lemonade and soda.
