Espolon Reposado Tequila

Espolòn Reposado is a 100% agave tequila from Arandas in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, aged in oak and bottled at 40% alcohol. We carry it in 375ml, 750ml, 1L and 1.75L sizes.

It is made at Destiladora San Nicolas (NOM 1440), owned by Campari Group. The agave is cooked in a low-pressure autoclave, crushed with a roller mill and fermented in stainless steel; the tequila is a blend of pot-still and column-still spirit, then rested in lightly charred (No. 2 char) American oak. The label art draws on the Day of the Dead.

Espolòn describes roasted agave, sweet tropical fruit, vanilla and brown spice with a long, spicy finish. The Beverage Testing Institute notes peppery, fruity agave and a touch of barrel spice.
