Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The impressive and aromatic 2016 Sauvignon Blanc from the estate vineyards in the Pedernal Valley has textbook aromas of gooseberry and bay leaf, more Sancerre than New Zealand. The full clusters were pressed and fermented at a low temperature, kept with the lees for some six to seven months before bottling. It's extremely tasty, with sharp acidity (no malolactic) and a dry, chalky sensation in the palate. Really impressive, and very good value for money. — L.G." |
