Herradura Silver Tequila

Herradura Silver is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Amatitán in Jalisco's Tequila Valley, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol. We carry it in 750ml, 1L and 1.75L sizes.

Casa Herradura has made tequila at its Hacienda San José del Refugio since 1870 (NOM 1119) and has been owned by Brown-Forman since 2007. The agave is slow-cooked in brick ovens, fermented with wild airborne yeast in open stainless tanks and distilled twice. Unlike most blancos, Silver then rests about 45 days in American oak barrels.

Herradura describes herbal agave, warm wood and vanilla, with mildly sweet roasted agave and a crisp, clean finish. Wine Enthusiast's Kara Newman notes a faint straw tinge and a bold, sweet vanilla palate with hints of coconut.
