Its importer, CNI Brands (Cadre Noir), created it with the Bonanza distillery (NOM 1604), owned by the family of Casa San Matías, to make the best possible margarita with Combier orange liqueur. It blends about 80% blanco with 20% reposado rested six months, from agave cooked in brick ovens and distilled in pot stills.
Expect agave, pineapple, vanilla, caramel and black pepper.
