Malfy Con Limone Gin 750ml

Malfy Con Limone leads with lemon peel before the juniper shows up, so reach for it when a drink should taste of Italian citrus first.

It comes from Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, just outside Turin, a distillery founded in 1906 and run by the Vergnano family. Lemon peels from the Amalfi Coast and Sicily are steeped in spirit made from Italian grain, then joined by Italian juniper, coriander, angelica, cassia and other botanicals.

It is distilled in a stainless steel vacuum still at low temperature to keep the fresh citrus aroma intact. The brand describes freshly picked lemon zest on the nose and a zesty bite on the palate.

Malfy suggests it on the rocks or in a gin and tonic. Use a large wine glass, lots of ice and a strip of lemon peel twisted over the top. It also brightens a Negroni garnished with lemon.
