Mathilde Peche Peach Liqueur 750ml

Mathilde Pêche is a peach liqueur from Maison Ferrand, the Cognac house behind Pierre Ferrand, made from small vine peaches with firm skins and pale, fragrant flesh. It is bottled at 18%.

It is pale gold, with a bright, sweet apple-and-peach scent and flavor and a breeze of white blossom on the finish. It is light, medium-bodied and gently sweet, never syrupy.

For a Bellini without fresh peaches, this is the bottle. It is lighter and more natural-tasting than Peachtree, which is better saved for a Fuzzy Navel.

Pour half an ounce into a flute and top with Prosecco for a Bellini, or shake it with vodka and lemon for a peach sour. It is also fresh enough to sip chilled.
