Twisted Tea Sweet Tea Whiskey

Twisted Tea Sweet Tea Whiskey comes from a joint venture between the Boston Beer Company, which makes Twisted Tea, and Beam Suntory, launched in 2022. It turns the hard iced tea into a whiskey you can pour.

It's American whiskey blended with sweet tea flavor and bottled at 65 proof (32.5%). The nose is freshly steeped black tea, caramelised sugar, lemon zest and a little vanilla oak; the palate is sweet iced tea up front with mellow whiskey warmth, honey and citrus; and the finish is clean and lightly tannic.

It's a backyard bottle for anyone who already drinks Twisted Tea. For lemony long drinks, Jameson Orange works the same way; for a sweet sipping flavor, try Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.

Pour 1 1/2oz over ice and top with lemonade and a lemon wheel for a whiskey Arnold Palmer. A chilled shot straight from the fridge works too.
