Gran Coramino Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila from the town of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol in a 750ml bottle.
Gran Coramino was founded by Kevin Hart and Juan Domingo Beckmann, of the Jose Cuervo family, and released this añejo in September 2022. It is made at La Rojeña (NOM 1122) from agave cooked in brick ovens. The tequila is aged more than 12 months in American and French oak, then blended with añejo reserves aged in casks that held Cognac.
Gran Coramino describes a deep amber tequila with cooked agave, butterscotch and cinnamon, then oak, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla.
It is the oldest of the range; the Gran Coramino Reposado is lighter and fruitier.
