Wine Review Online

"Though Paul Hobbs is probably best known for his single vineyard wines, he is clearly no slouch at blending vineyards to make something special. This bottling is rich and deeply extracted, showing black cherry, raspberry, mace, cola and damp earth notes. It’s very lively for all its density, with seductive oak toast notes adding depth. It is already well integrated and promises a long life ahead. 96 Rich Cook"

"This intensely colored Pinot gives waves of raspberry and cherry liqueur aromas on the nose, with hints of herb mélange emerging over time. The palate is deeply saturated and juicy, with flavors of roasted cherry, spiced orange peel and sarsaparilla on the balanced palate."

Wine Spectator

"Bright and punchy, with a host of delicious mulberry and pomegranate notes, carried by crunchy acidity and backed by light anise and potpourri accents on the finish. Shows nice racy energy underneath."
