Gulp Hablo is made by the Parra brothers, Francisco, Javier and Luis, at Bodegas Parra Jiménez, whose vineyards are certified organic and Demeter biodynamic. Fresco looks back to an old Spanish habit of fermenting red and white grapes together. It blends 50% Garnacha and 15% Syrah with 35% white Verdejo, Airén and Macabeo, all co-fermented, which gives a wine that sits somewhere between a rosé and a light red.
Expect a bright ruby-pink color, cranberry, raspberry and cherry with a touch of spice and fresh herbs, soft tannins and lively acidity on a clean, juicy finish.
