Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut is a non-vintage rosé Champagne from France, made from 100% Pinot Noir and bottled at 12% alcohol in a 750ml bottle.
Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 in Tours-sur-Marne and launched its Cuvée Rosé in 1968. The Pinot Noir comes from ten villages, mainly on the Montagne de Reims, including the grand crus Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne. Instead of blending red and white wine, the house gets its color by leaving the juice on the grape skins for 48 to 72 hours. The wine then ages at least five years before release, with a dosage of 9 grams per liter.
Expect strawberry, raspberry, red currant and black cherry, a round palate with fresh acidity, and a dry finish. The Tasting Panel scores it 97 points, and Wine Enthusiast's Roger Voss gives it 94.
