Casamigos Blanco is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol. We stock it in 375ml, 750ml and 1L bottles.
Casamigos was founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman and is now owned by Diageo. The agave is grown in the red clay of the highlands, slow-roasted in brick ovens, and the blanco rests for about two months before bottling.
Expect a smooth, light tequila with citrus, vanilla and sweet agave and a long, soft finish. Wine Enthusiast (Kara Newman) gives it 92 points, noting mild agave sweetness with lemon zest, ginger and white pepper and a candied lemon-peel finish.
If you find most blancos too sharp, Casamigos is one of the softest and easiest to sip.
