Gran Coramino Reposado Cristalino is a 100% agave tequila from the town of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, aged in oak, then filtered clear and bottled at 40% alcohol in a 750ml bottle.
Gran Coramino was founded by Kevin Hart and Juan Domingo Beckmann, of the Jose Cuervo family, and launched with this cristalino in 2022. It is made at La Rojeña (NOM 1122) from Beckmann family agave, cooked in brick ovens and distilled in copper pot stills. The tequila rests in Eastern European oak, is finished in California Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels and is then slowly filtered to remove the color.
Gran Coramino describes cooked agave, ripe stone fruit and oak on the nose, then sweet vanilla, butterscotch, berries and spice with a long, balanced finish.
It is the clear version of the range; the amber Gran Coramino Reposado is aged in French and American oak.
