Mionetto One Low Alcohol Sparkling Wine 750ml

Mionetto is a Prosecco house founded in Valdobbiadene in 1887 and is now part of Henkell Freixenet. One is its low-alcohol sparkling wine.

It's made from Glera grapes in the Veneto. Retailers say the wine is made traditionally first and then put through a gentle process to remove most of the alcohol, leaving it at under 1% alcohol by volume. It isn't labeled Prosecco DOC. One retailer lists it as vegan.

Retailers describe peach and apple with a light, delicate body and "a touch of sweetness."

Against Veuve du Vernay Brut, Mionetto One has almost no alcohol; for a sparkling toast for drivers, designated hosts or anyone cutting back, choose Mionetto One.

Serve it well chilled in a flute or wine glass. It's a good fit for brunch, baby showers, alcohol-free spritzes or simply on its own with fruit, salads and light appetizers on a warm afternoon.
