The BBQ Area
Nothing is as American as a summer barbeque. So, grab your friends and some great food and hit up Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The park has two barbecuing areas with enough room for up to 20 people in a party – great for a birthday bash, a work celebration, or a regular weekend with friends.
The first barbecue area is on 111th Street and 55th Avenue. The other spot is off Lake West and Lake East. Each of the grills is easy to operate and can be fueled with coal and matches.
Rules prohibit the use of propane for grilling. Visitors also may not litter or dump debris in non-authorized areas. Please make sure to dispose of waste properly and ensure the preservation of the park.
