Barefoot Bubbly Pink Moscato

Barefoot Cellars is based in Modesto, California, and has been part of E. & J. Gallo since 2005. Head winemaker Jen Wall has worked with the brand since 1995.

Bubbly Pink Moscato is a sparkling wine in the Barefoot Bubbly range, sold without a vintage. Barefoot doesn't publish the grapes, appellation or method, and BevMo lists it at 9.5% alcohol. It comes in a standard 750ml bottle and a 187ml single-serve bottle.

The winery describes candied cherry and ripe raspberry with fine bubbles and a creamy finish. It's a sweet, Moscato-style pink bubbly.

Against Bartenura Moscato, Barefoot Bubbly is pink and sparkling rather than lightly fizzy, with a 187ml size; for a sweet pink toast at a party, choose Barefoot Bubbly.

Serve it well chilled. Pour it with fruit tarts, strawberries, cupcakes or spicy takeout, or use it to top a fruit punch. The 187ml bottle is a handy single pour for picnics and gift baskets.
