Bulleit Bourbon Kentucky Straight Frontier Whiskey

Bulleit Bourbon is a high-rye bourbon, made with about 28% rye alongside corn and malted barley, and bottled at 45%. The brand was launched by Tom Bulleit in 1987 and is now made at the Bulleit Distilling Company in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

All that rye gives it more spice than most bourbons at this price: caramel, maple and vanilla up front, then nutmeg, oak and a dry, peppery finish.
