Clermont Steep American Single Malt Whiskey 750ml

Clermont Steep is Beam's first American single malt, made at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky, the home of Jim Beam. It's distilled entirely from malted barley and aged five years.

American single malt is a young category, and Beam's take leans bold and bakery-sweet. It shows less fruit than Scotch: warm pastry, sweet candy and hot cocoa on the nose; a malty, chocolatey palate with oats, honey and burnt toast; and a finish of barrel char, dark chocolate, espresso and pepper. It's bottled at 47%.
