Loveblock Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024 750ml

Loveblock is the second act of Kim and Erica Crawford, who founded Kim Crawford Wines and later sold it. In 2006 they bought land in Marlborough, and Kim makes the wines while Erica runs the vineyards.

The farm sits on higher, north-facing, dry slopes with alluvial soils, and the Sauvignon Blanc is certified organic. It's built for texture as much as zest, and the 2024 is 13.5% alcohol under screw cap.

The winemaker's notes for 2024 describe peach, fresh fruit and straw on the nose, then a dry, fresh palate of ripe peach, papaya, basil and a hint of sea air, with a long finish.
