Newton Vineyard Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 750ml

This single-vineyard Cabernet comes from Newton's estate in Yountville, on the lower slopes of the Mayacamas. It is one of the last Yountville wines Newton made: the vineyard was not part of the 2025 sale of the brand.

The 2018 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from rocky hillside blocks 383, 385 and 386. It aged 18 months in French oak, 65% new, and was bottled unfiltered. Newton's Spring Mountain winery burned in the 2020 Glass Fire; Moët Hennessy closed Newton in 2025, and new owners bought the brand that September.

The winery describes dark bramble fruit, cassis and black cherry with sage, thyme and chocolate-covered espresso bean, full-bodied, smooth and generous.
