Absolut Watermelon Vodka

Absolut Watermelon is made in Åhus, Sweden, from Absolut's winter wheat vodka and natural watermelon flavor. Like most Absolut flavors, it has no added sugar. Absolut has belonged to Pernod Ricard since 2008.

It tastes of fresh watermelon on the nose, with a dry, slightly herbal finish rather than candy sweetness.

Choose it when you want summer fruit without the sugar of a sweetened vodka. For a sweeter fruit vodka, try New Amsterdam Pineapple; for raspberry, Absolut Raspberri.

The brand suggests a Watermelon Spritz or a Watermelon Cosmopolitan. It also makes a simple highball with soda water and fresh mint.

It is a little lighter than standard vodka. Keep it in the freezer and pour it straight over ice for a quick, refreshing drink, or add fresh watermelon cubes and a squeeze of lime for a party pitcher.
