Grand Marnier Cuvée du Centenaire was created in 1927 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle to mark the company's 100th anniversary. It blends bitter orange essence with Grande and Petite Champagne cognacs averaging 12 to 25 years old, and is bottled at 40%.
Much older cognac gives it far more depth than the standard bottling: candied and bitter orange, vanilla, dried fruit, gingerbread and spice, with a long finish of oak and almond.
This is the Grand Marnier to sip and to give as a gift. For cocktails, use Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge; for the top of the range, see Cuvée Louis-Alexandre.
Serve it neat or with a single ice cube after dinner, in a snifter. For a special Sidecar, pair it with a good cognac and fresh lemon.
We carry it in the 750ml size. More orange liqueurs are under liqueurs and cordials. Pick it up at our Brooklyn store or get same-day delivery in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Queens.
