Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea is Kentucky bourbon that finishes its ageing in barrels on board ships. Jefferson's says a typical voyage calls at more than 25 ports on five continents and crosses the equator twice.

Master blender Trey Zoeller came up with the idea in 2008 with OCEARCH founder Chris Fischer. The motion of the sea and the swings in temperature push the whiskey deep into the wood, giving a dark, rich bourbon with caramel, dried fruit, a hint of brine and spice. It is bottled at 45% (90 proof).
