Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rose Champagne

Nectar Impérial Rosé is Moët & Chandon's sweet rosé, with a dosage of 45 grams per liter, so it sits in demi-sec territory. It is made for fruit, spice and dessert rather than oysters.

The blend leads with Pinot Noir, 45 to 55%, with 35 to 45% Meunier and a little Chardonnay. About a tenth of the Pinot Noir and Meunier is made as still red wine and blended in for the coral color, and reserve wines make up 20 to 30%.

Moët describes strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate with vanilla, brown sugar and mint, then a succulent palate that ends on blood orange.

Its dry sibling is Rosé Impérial; with a berry dessert or a spicy Thai dish, Nectar Rosé is the one to open. We also carry the limited Pharrell Williams bottle from 2025.

Moët suggests red-berry desserts, foie gras with mango, tempura and spicy dishes, and steering clear of oysters and dark chocolate. Serve it very cold, or over ice.
