Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 15 Year is a wheated bourbon from the Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery, aged fifteen years and bottled at 53.5% (107 proof). Since 2002 it has been made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, under a joint venture with the Van Winkle family.

It uses wheat instead of rye as the second grain, which keeps it soft despite the age and strength. It has a hazy copper colour, a rich, supple entry and a full palate of caramel, toffee and peppery brown spice, with a long finish of spice and wood.
