1792 Single Barrel is drawn from one barrel at a time at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, owned by the Sazerac Company, and bottled at 49.3% (98.6 proof).

It uses the distillery's high-rye mash bill, so it is bold and spicy: caramel, maple, dried fruit and mocha, with clove and pepper. A splash of water softens the strength and brings out more fruit.
