Aberlour 16 Year is a double cask matured Speyside single malt, aged sixteen years in a combination of American oak and oloroso sherry casks.

The extra years deepen Aberlour's fruity style into something smooth and spicy, with a copper colour, caramel, butterscotch and baked apple on the nose, then sweet smoke, toasted oak, almond and dried date, and a big cinnamon finish. Aberlour was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, and the 16 is excellent value for its age.
