Elijah Craig 18 Year Single Barrel is the oldest regular release in the Elijah Craig range, aged eighteen years at Heaven Hill in Bardstown, Kentucky, and bottled one barrel at a time at 45% (90 proof).

It was discontinued in 2012 because of low stock and came back in 2015, still in small numbers. The long ageing gives a full, robust bourbon with toffee and oak, orange peel and cherry over vanilla and caramel, and a long finish. The brand is named after Rev. Elijah Craig, the 18th-century Kentucky preacher whom legend credits with first ageing whiskey in charred barrels.
