Hennessy XO Cognac

Hennessy XO was created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy, and the house was the first to put the XO label on a cognac. It blends about 100 eaux-de-vie from four crus, Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois, and every one must be at least 10 years old under the XO rules. It is bottled at 40%.

It is rich and layered: dried fruit, candied orange, toffee and tobacco, with spice and a long finish.
