Hornitos Plata Tequila

Hornitos Plata is a 100% agave tequila from the town of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol. We carry it in 750ml, 1L and 1.75L sizes.

Hornitos is made by Tequila Sauza (NOM 1102) at its La Perseverancia distillery, founded by Cenobio Sauza in 1873, and is owned by Suntory Global Spirits. The agave juice is extracted with a diffuser, cooked in an autoclave, fermented in stainless steel and distilled twice.

Hornitos describes floral, fruity and herbal aromas with light citrus and a warm, dry finish. Wine Enthusiast's Kara Newman points to its sweeter side: a vanilla-marshmallow scent, with coconut and pineapple on a silky palate.
