Lagavulin 16 Year Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Lagavulin 16 Year is the signature single malt from the Lagavulin Distillery on the south coast of Islay, founded in 1816. It is aged sixteen years and bottled at 43%.

Lagavulin runs its spirit slowly through pear-shaped stills, which helps give a rich, rounded whisky to carry the heavy peat. Nothing about it is subtle: deep peat smoke and sea air, with dried fruit, sherry sweetness, vanilla and a touch of iodine, and a very long, warming finish of spice and oak.
