Lagavulin Distillers Edition is Lagavulin's classic Islay malt double matured, with a second maturation in casks seasoned with Pedro Ximénez sherry, a sweet wine made from sun-dried grapes. It is bottled at 43%.

The PX casks deepen and sweeten every part of Lagavulin's rich, intense character: peat smoke and iodine meet raisin, fig, dark sugar and sweet spice, with a full, rounded body and a long, smoky-sweet finish. It is a popular after-dinner Islay malt.
