Lunazul Blanco is a 100% blue agave tequila from the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol in a 1-liter bottle.
It is made by the Beckmann family at their Tierra de Agaves distillery (NOM 1513), an estate about 5 km from the town of Tequila, completed in 2002, and imported by Heaven Hill, its partner since 2008. The agave is estate-grown, cooked in an autoclave, crushed with a roller mill and distilled twice, then bottled at the distillery.
Expect ripe agave, black pepper and lemon zest, with a hint of vanilla and honey on a clean finish.
