Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2022 is the 22nd edition of the annual release made to celebrate the birthday of founder George Garvin Brown, who started the company in Louisville in 1870. It comes from 11-year-old barrels and is bottled at 48% (96 proof).

The barrels were chosen after a tasting panel, and the whole release comes from a single day's production. Caramelised orange peel, cherry and vanilla lead into roasted coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa, with toasted oak and a smooth, mocha finish.
