Buffalo Trace Kosher Rye Recipe is a kosher bourbon made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, with the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc). It is aged in barrels set aside for kosher production and bottled at 47% (94 proof).
It uses rye as its second grain, so it has more spice than standard Buffalo Trace: caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and pepper, with a dry, oaky finish. Because it was made to Passover standards, it suits holiday tables that keep kosher.
For a certified kosher bourbon, this is our pick. For another bottle in the same kosher series, choose Buffalo Trace Kosher Straight Rye Recipe; for the standard bottle, see Buffalo Trace.
Sip it neat or on the rocks, or use it in a Manhattan.
We carry it in the 750ml size. More bottles are under bourbon, and the rest of our whiskey is a click away. Pick it up at our Brooklyn store or get same-day delivery in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Queens.
