BuzzBallz Strawberry 'Rita 200ml

BuzzBallz Strawberry 'Rita comes from BuzzBallz, founded in 2009 by former Plano teacher Merrilee Kick and based in Carrollton, Texas, where it runs a 500,000-square-foot facility. Sazerac bought the company in March 2024.

Kroger lists it as crafted with real tequila and natural flavors, with strawberry and lime, so it's a spirit-based margarita. Each 200ml ball is a single serving at 15% alcohol (30 proof), closer to a glass of wine than a seltzer.

Against BuzzBallz Tequila 'Rita, the Strawberry 'Rita adds strawberry to the lime at the same 15%; for a fruitier margarita, choose the Strawberry 'Rita.

Each ball holds one drink, so chill it well before opening. Drink it straight from the ball, or pour it over ice in a salt-rimmed rocks glass to soften the strength and give the strawberry room. A lime wedge squeezed in at the end sharpens the citrus.
