Casa Dragones Blanco Tequila 750ml

Casa Dragones Blanco is a 100% blue agave tequila from the Tequila Valley of Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol in a 750ml bottle.

Casa Dragones was founded in 2009 by Maestra Tequilera Bertha González Nieves and Robert W. Pittman and is based in San Miguel de Allende. Its blanco, launched in 2014, is made from Tequila Valley agave using a modern process (NOM 1489): the agave is extracted with a diffuser and cooked by acid-thermal hydrolysis, then distilled twice and cut with spring water.

Casa Dragones describes grapefruit and green apple, semi-sweet agave with pepper and clove, and a crisp finish with hints of almond. Wine Enthusiast (Kara Newman) gives it 92 points for its mild, sweet mango and coconut aromas and tart, fruity palate.

It is made as a sipping tequila, lighter and smoother than most traditional blancos, and comes in a gift box.
