Dolin Vermouth Blanc

The clear, sweet blanc style of vermouth was created in Savoie in 1881, and Dolin Blanc remains the benchmark. It is made on Ugni Blanc wine with 32 herbs and spices, including hibiscus, basil, cinnamon, alpine wormwood and gentian, and bottled at 16%.

It is softly sweet and floral, with vanilla, pear and light bitterness on the finish.

For a White Negroni or an El Presidente, Dolin Blanc is the vermouth to buy; for a drier Martini, choose Dolin Dry. For a sweet red, see Dolin Rouge.

Pour it over ice, mix a Chambéry-Cassis with crème de cassis, or use it in a White Negroni. A sliced strawberry and a splash of soda make a simple summer drink.
