G4 Blanco is an unaged, 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% alcohol in a 750ml bottle.
G4 is made by fourth-generation master distiller Felipe Camarena at his El Pandillo distillery in Jesús María (NOM 1579). Mature agave is slow-cooked in stone ovens and crushed with a mechanical tahona, then fermented with a 50/50 mix of collected rainwater and spring water and double distilled in copper pot stills. G4 says agave, water and its family yeast are the only ingredients.
Expect cooked agave, fresh herbs and minerals on the nose, then a silky, peppery palate with lime zest, earthy agave and a dry, clean finish.
