Jinro Plum Soju 375ml

Jinro Plum Soju is made by HiteJinro in South Korea and imported to the US by Jinro America Inc, under the name registered with state liquor boards. It launched in Korea in 2018, two years after the line's first grapefruit and green grape flavors.

HiteJinro's fruit sojus grew about eightfold from 2018 to 2023 and made up about 48% of its overseas soju exports in 2023, with plum named among the export flavors. The fruit is the Korean red plum, jadu, not the green maesil plum used in plum wines. It is 13% alcohol (26 proof), per the North Carolina ABC and Caskers.

UK retailer Sous Chef calls it a fruity twist on Korea's national drink.

Against Jinro Grapefruit Soju, Plum swaps citrus for red plum at the same 13%; for a fruit soju with stone-fruit flavor rather than tartness, choose Plum.
