Martini & Rossi Rosso was launched in 1863 in Pessione, near Turin, and the company has been part of Bacardi since 1993. Wormwood, quassia and summer savory are among its botanicals, and caramel gives it its deep red color.
It is a classic sweet vermouth: cherry, blood orange and cocoa with a bittersweet finish.
For an everyday Manhattan or Negroni at a low price, this is the one to buy. If you want more depth, step up to Cocchi Vermouth di Torino; for a lighter French style, try Dolin Rouge.
It is the standard vermouth for a Manhattan, a Negroni or an Americano, and it is good on its own over ice with an orange slice.
Keep it in the fridge once opened and finish it within a month or two. More bottles are under vermouth and aperitif, and the rest of our liquor is a click away. Pick it up at our Brooklyn store or get same-day delivery in Brooklyn, Manhattan & Queens.
