Probitas White Rum 750ml

Probitas White Rum is a blended white rum made by the Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados and Hampden Estate in Jamaica, bottled at 47% alcohol.

It blends unaged Hampden pot still rum and unaged Foursquare column still rum with Foursquare pot still rum aged two years. It is non-chill filtered, with no added sugar, coloring or flavoring.

Expect tropical fruit and baking spice with plantain and strawberry on the nose, then a full, rich palate of underripe mango, coconut and marzipan, finishing with black pepper, allspice and grilled pineapple. VinePair gives it 94 points.

Most white rums are light and neutral. Probitas is built for flavor, with Hampden's funky Jamaican fruit over Foursquare's clean Barbados base, so it makes a much better daiquiri or mojito.
