Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur 750ml

Barrow's is made here in Brooklyn, in Industry City in Sunset Park, where it has been produced since 2013. Each batch uses more than 200 pounds of fresh ginger, cold-pressed with no heat or filtration, on a cane-spirit base, and it is bottled at 22%. Founder Josh Morton named it for Barrow Street in Manhattan, where he worked out the recipe.

It is cloudy pale lemon and smells of fresh ginger and lemon peel. The palate opens sweet, then turns long and warming, with real ginger heat and white pepper.

Use it in a Penicillin with a blended Scotch in place of ginger syrup, add a splash to a Moscow Mule with vodka, or sip it over ice.
