Patron XO Cafe Liqueur 750ml

Patrón XO Café is tequila and coffee: Patrón Silver blended with Arabica coffee from Veracruz and Chiapas, bottled at 35%. Patrón discontinued it in 2021 and has brought it back only in limited runs since, starting with a US release in April 2024, so stock comes and goes.

It is drier than most coffee liqueurs. The nose is sweet and mocha-like; the palate brings dark espresso with a clear tequila presence and a peppery, jalapeño-like kick on a clean finish.

For an Espresso Martini that tastes mostly of coffee, Mr Black is the better bottle, and Kahlua is the sweeter, softer classic. Buy XO Café for a tequila drinker, for chilled shots, or for a coffee-and-agave twist on an after-dinner drink.

Serve it chilled as a shot or over ice, or add a splash to hot coffee.
